Job Summary
As an Applied Scientist on Zalando’s Marketing Science team in Berlin, you will establish the ground-truth framework for measuring marketing effectiveness, build attribution and propensity models, and drive audience optimization and marketing investment optimization. You’ll collaborate with Senior and Principal Scientists to apply elasticity modeling, forecasting, and multi-objective optimization under constraints to inform advertising channel investments. The role requires advanced Python coding, experience with PySpark/SQL, MLops for production deployment, and the ability to translate complex analyses for both technical and non-technical audiences; hybrid work arrangement with a strong emphasis on collaboration across teams, and relocation support available. The position ships a path toward leadership and mentorship within a cross-functional environment across Europe’s Zalando markets.
Required Qualifications
