Job Summary

Lead innovative engineering projects and improvement activities across Mosaic concentrate and mining processes, including development of entirely new processes. Complete feasibility studies on new technology that could provide a step change improvement to aspects of mining and concentrate processing, and product development. Actively engage with various levels of personnel, including operations, engineering, and functional groups to share learnings and build collaborative networks. Participate and direct research activities in both laboratory and full-scale industrial operations. Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization, including management, plant operators, engineers (of various disciplines), tradespersons, and contractors. Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment. Adhering to Mosaic's mission, guiding principles and priorities, and key competencies.

Required Qualifications

Junior level or above by Jan/May 2027 pursuing a bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical, Mining or industrial Engineering
2.75 GPA or higher
Ability to function in an industrial chemical and mining environment
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Ability to work full time and be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the job without posing a direct threat to the safety of his or her own self, or the safety of others
Able to lift approximately 0-25 lbs. occasionally
Able to climb stairs and work at various heights
