Job Summary
Applied AI/ML Senior Associate responsible for developing data-centric AI/ML solutions at a leading financial services firm. Responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders to understand business requirements, developing AI/ML solutions to address impactful needs, productionizing end-to-end AI/ML workflows, conducting R&D for innovative solutions, documenting models for stakeholders, coaching team members, and collaborating with cross-team efforts to achieve the firm's mission. Skills emphasized include Python (TensorFlow/Keras/PyTorch/Scikit-learn), NLP, Spark, Hive, SQL, data wrangling/analysis, and modeling, with an advanced degree (PhD or Masters) and 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in analytical field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Operations Research)
- Experience in the application of AI/ML to a relevant field
- Demonstrated practical experience in machine learning techniques, supervised, unsupervised, and semi-supervised
- Strong experience in natural language processing (NLP) and its applications
- Solid coding level in Python with libraries like Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch, Scikit-learn
- Experience with Spark, Hive, and SQL
