Job Summary
Senior Applied AI/ML Associate within the AI for Operations group designing, building, and scaling NLP/language capabilities for bank operations. You will work hands-on across the end-to-end model lifecycle—partnering with product, engineering, operations, and risk to translate operational needs into production-grade language solutions such as intelligent search, summarization, classification, and next-best-action recommendations. Responsibilities include analyzing complex datasets to inform decisions, leading model development and deployment, supervising data analysis and visualizations, ensuring production-quality code, anticipating risks and mitigating them, and communicating complex issues to senior management while fostering a transparent, cross-functional environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field with 3+ years experience OR Ph.D in CS/ML or related field with 1+ year experience
- Expertise in machine learning, Graph learning, recommendation systems, network analysis, NLP, Reinforcement learning, MLOps, Gen AI, LLMs
- Solid understanding of core CS concepts, including data structures and algorithms
