Job Summary
Senior Associate in Applied AI/ML research focusing on GenAI and agentic AI for Commercial and Investment Banking. Build and deploy enterprise-grade AI systems, deliver agents that automate complex workflows, design services and libraries for AI teams, collaborate with Lines of Business and firmwide partners, and ensure scalability, reliability, and security of AI/ML solutions in production. Key skills include research experience in AI, data analysis and experimental design, production deployment of AI/ML applications, distributed computing for training/serving/persistence, and integrating user feedback for agentic refinement. Preferred qualifications include experience deploying models on AWS (SageMaker/Bedrock) and PhD-level education.
Required Qualifications
- Research experience or experience working in a commercial AI research environment
- Strong understanding of AI fundamentals and practical experience with data analysis and experimental design
- Experience deploying AI/ML applications in a production environment
- Familiarity with distributed computing patterns for training, serving, and persistence of state
- Experience integrating user feedback to support agentic refinement and self-improving AI applications
- Experience working as part of a high-performing AI team
