Job Summary
Applied AI Modeling Executive Director leading a team of AI/ML scientists focused on geospatial, graph-based AI modeling to inform Chase's branch network strategy, including opening, relocation, or reformatting branches. Responsible for partnering with Real Estate, Finance, and Market Strategy stakeholders, translating innovations into scalable production-ready solutions, and ensuring governance/compliance with internal and external standards. Emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and delivering business-impactful modeling with trust across senior stakeholders across Real Estate, Finance, Market Strategy, Governance, and Compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree (master’s or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Geography, or related field
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying advanced AI/ML models
- 5+ years in a technical leadership or people management role
- Expertise in geospatial analytics, graph neural networks, network science, optimization/operations research, or advanced ML for location strategy or network design
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience mentoring technical teams
- Rigorous statistical thinking and model risk awareness
