Job Summary
Applied AI ML Associate in Payments Operations responsible for proposing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring ML applications and models to support Payments Operations. Collaborates with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, productionizes models with governance, and communicates results to senior leaders. Requires strong software engineering skills, expertise in Python/R and ML frameworks, experience with deep learning for language and image tasks, handling large multimodal datasets, and delivering end-to-end ML projects from inception to production.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience, or MS in a related field
- Proficient in Python, R, or other equivalent languages
- Experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills (exploratory data analysis, statistical models, GLM, decision trees, clustering, bootstrapping)
- Experience with deep learning for language and image classification, image-to-text extraction; knowledge of CNNs, RNNs and Transformers
- Ability to manage AI/ML projects from inception to production, including extraction of insights, planning and milestones
- Eagerness to work with large and complex datasets, including preprocessing raw and unlabeled multimodal data
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with a geographically distributed team
- Experience with NLP, Language Models, and Computer Vision (preferred)
- Ability to design intrinsic and extrinsic evaluations aligned with business goals (preferred)
