Applied AI Engineer

Applied AI Engineer role to design, build, deploy, and optimize AI-powered solutions that create measurable business value across WELL Health Technologies. Responsibilities include delivering agents, assistants, automations, and applications that drive smarter decisions; connecting AI capabilities to enterprise data, systems, and APIs; evaluating performance, implementing guardrails and governance; driving adoption across business functions; and delivering production-ready AI solutions with reliability, scalability, and security. Requires hands-on experience taking AI from concept to production, strong Python and API/cloud skills, experience with modern LLM platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude) and concepts like retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, tool calling, workflow orchestration, and agent-based architectures; excellent collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders; healthcare or regulated environments experience is a plus.
