Job Summary
Operate commercial sprayers, floaters, and single or tandem axle trucks to apply crop inputs and manage equipment maintenance. Accurately apply production inputs following recommended rates and pesticide labels while recording application data and conducting daily safety checks. Load and unload containers and pallets, ensuring products are evenly balanced and axle weights meet standards. Assist with inventory control, turn in application records, and perform preventative maintenance on location equipment and vehicles. Requires a CDL license, valid medical card, and pesticide applicator's license. Ability to work extended hours and extreme weather conditions.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL License with required endorsements within 1 year of employment
- Satisfactory driving record
- Valid medical card
- Ability to obtain and maintain a pesticide/applicator's license or any other licenses and certifications necessary to the position
- Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position
- Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant
- Ability to handle extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
- Ability to handle noisy conditions
- Ability to work in conditions including dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards
- Ability to work at varying heights
- Ability to move up to 100lbs
- Ability to pass an acceptable and job-related background check
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle report check
- Ability to pass a reference check
