Job Summary
Apply crop production inputs to fields and growing crops according to recommended rates, procedures, and all pesticide labels. Record application data per regulations and standards. Set up material handling, blending, storage, transport, and application equipment for blending and delivery of products. Blend products according to recommended rates and procedures. Operate large machinery while working in extreme noise and weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet environments, dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards. Requires CDL with satisfactory driving record and ability to work at varying heights and move up to 100lbs. Full-time position with in-house training and leadership development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Ability to obtain all required pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses or certifications in states where crop production inputs are applied
- Ability to work with extreme noise and weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
- Ability to work in areas that contain dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards, requiring utilization of appropriate safety measures
- Ability to work at varying heights and move up to 100lbs
- CDL with satisfactory driving record
- Acceptable and job-related background check
- Drug test
- Motor vehicle report
- Reference check
