Job Summary
Operate and maintain spray equipment according to specifications while blending chemicals per label instructions. Execute processes and machinery operations to provide accurate product unloading and delivery. Inspect buildings, grounds, and facility equipment to troubleshoot, perform light maintenance, and complete repairs. Blend crop protection products using computer-assisted operations, reading maps and following directions. Interact with customers, peers, and management to provide service, pursue continuous improvement, and collaborate with Sales and Agronomy teams on field scouting and mix recommendations. Adhere to all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and DOT policies. Valid driver's license and Commercial Applicator License required. Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/GED or 0-1 year related experience; or combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license
- Commercial Applicator License or ability to obtain license
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- English Proficiency
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts
Desired Qualifications
- CDL
- Experience running applicator equipment
