Job Summary
Define and execute testing strategies for Siemens OpCenter configurations, customizations, and integrations across manufacturing, quality, and logistics functional areas. Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and data while leading defect tracking and management using tools like Jira and Azure DevOps. Mentor testing resources, ensure alignment on standards, and provide status reporting to guarantee production readiness. This role reports to the Operations Manager within Toyota's Manufacturing IT Department to deliver a high-quality MES solution. Based at the Battery Plant in Liberty, NC, the position requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of software testing experience; sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Right to work in the United States without requiring Toyota support or sponsorship for immigration-related employment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of software testing experience
- 2+ years of experience testing MES/MOM or similar enterprise systems
- Experience with SQL and validating data across integrated systems
- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Reside within a commutable distance of the Battery Plant in Liberty, NC
- Experience with Siemens OpCenter (Discrete, Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing modules)
- Experience in automotive or battery manufacturing environments
- Experience with test automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Tosca)
- ISTQB or similar testing certification
