Job Summary
Manage Applications Engineers by prioritizing tasks, providing technical guidance for application development projects, and conducting performance assessments based on Cohu's PDE process. Lead on-site and off-site customer support activities, including ramp-up support and troubleshooting, while ensuring all inquiries are responded to professionally. Coordinate with the global Applications Team to meet objectives, foster communication with customers, and identify training needs to enhance overall team performance. Report system performance issues and draft application notes for internal and customer use. Requires 5+ years in ATE/semiconductor industry, English proficiency, and Mandarin knowledge beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Education Engineering / University degree or similar education
- 5+ years of experience in the ATE and/or semiconductor industry
- Experience as an Applications Engineer
- Experience and execution of successful projects as an Applications Engineer or similar
- Direct responsibility for key customer support for 3+ years
- Experience and contribution in key benchmarks
- Specific Knowledge English knowledge (written and spoken)
- Programming skills

- Good understanding of electronics and electrical engineering
