Job Summary
Lead multiple application modernization projects using Agile development best practices and DevSecOps principles. Gather requirements with stakeholders to estimate development effort, draft user stories, and facilitate ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives. Review QA results and final acceptance to ensure quality standards, while managing team resources and providing staffing recommendations. Track project budgets, monitor burn rates, and maintain a master schedule to avoid resource conflicts. Communicate status, risks, and updates directly to customers and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in development processes. Work day shift Monday through Friday at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant with less than 10% travel, supporting federal government agencies including the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Three (3) or more years of experience applying DevSecOps development strategies
- Three (3) or more years of experience with Agile methodologies and related tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- Three (3) or more years of experience with Quality Assurance (QA) application testing processes
- Three (3) or more years of experience managing budgets and resources across multiple concurrent application projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement
- Working knowledge of DoD STIGs and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance requirements
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments
- This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations
- Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape
