Job Summary
The Applications Team Lead will oversee software development and application support teams for Army enterprise systems, managing the full software development lifecycle and coordinating application releases while ensuring compliance with DoD standards. This position requires strong technical leadership with at least 8 years of application development experience, including 3 years in a leadership role, and proficiency in Agile methodologies. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess CompTIA Security+ and PMP certifications, along with expertise in Java, .NET, and modern web frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of application development experience
- Minimum 3 years in team leadership role
- CompTIA Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Strong knowledge of Java, .NET, or modern web frameworks
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Active Security Clearance Required
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in related field
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist
- Experience with DevSecOps practices
- Experience supporting Army ERP or logistics systems
- Cloud development experience (AWS, Azure)
