Job Summary
SRE Observability Specialist delivering end-to-end observability for critical Payments flows. Hands-on role building telemetry, SLOs, and dashboards; bridge between Services Technology and central infrastructure; leverage Grafana/Prometheus/OpenTelemetry and related stacks to reduce toil and improve production monitoring for Payments. Requires collaboration with SREs, developers, and platform teams, strong communication, and a Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of SRE experience; experience in building scalable monitoring solutions and knowledge of payments taxonomy (ACH, Wires, Instant Payments, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years experience in an SRE Role
- Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications
- Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn
- Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes
- Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Issue tracking and reporting using tools
- Good all-round technical skills
- Ability to plan and organize workload
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
