Job Summary
Senior Applications Support Analyst (AVP) provides technical and business support for Citi applications, ensuring stability and availability, including start-of-day checks, risk reconciliations, and regional handovers. Partners with development and production support to prioritize bug fixes, participates in releases from development to production, and conducts post-implementation analyses. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders, coaches junior analysts, and contributes to stability, efficiency, and effectiveness initiatives while upholding risk, security, and compliance considerations.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years experience in an Application Support role
- Experience installing, configuring or supporting business applications
- Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn
- Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
- Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Issue tracking and reporting using tools
- Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools
- Good all-round technical skills
- Ability to plan and organize workload
- Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
