Job Summary
Run and lead the applications support team, managing both technology operations and people management during a massive global technology modernization. Develop and encourage a culture of service excellence while overseeing performance management, mentoring, and leadership for a software support team. Work on new projects created by the ongoing technology upgrade with a strong career pathway within a large international operation. You must be based around Dublin with a hybrid remote setup allowing most days from home. Salary is up to €85,000 with a strong annual bonus, pension, and health insurance. Required Qualifications
- Strong experience as an Applications Support Manager or Software Manager
- Proven experience managing & leading a software support team
- Application Support Manager or Software Support Manager experience
- Excellent people management experience - performance, mentoring, one on ones etc
- Must be based around Dublin or within an hour or so reasonable commute of Dublin
- There will be a hybrid remote WFH set up, so you can work remotely from home most days with only 1 - 2 days maximum in the office
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of .NET in a general way is useful
- You must have strong, proven people management experience
- You'll have enough technical knowledge to understand the software landscape
- it is a bonus if you have some overview knowledge of .NET
- Develop & encourage a culture of service excellence
