Job Summary
On-site full-time Applications Supervisor (HIM) leads the applications analyst team, trains users, and acts as the healthcare specialist for applications. Responsibilities include supervising staff, serving as escalation point for application support, ensuring SLA compliance, mentoring onboarding, managing project deliverables, coordinating with infrastructure and support teams, maintaining technical documentation, leading meetings, promoting system security and patient confidentiality, and supporting evaluation and optimization of healthcare applications and workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health information management or ten years relevant work experience along with HIMSS certification(s)
