Job Summary
Review, plan, and install core vendor updates while troubleshooting complex client and server software environments in a call center. Answer help desk calls, create and update tickets, and communicate technical solutions clearly to end-users. Follow defined procedures to resolve recurring issues and escalate sensitive problems to senior technicians as needed. Work independently with high attention to detail, utilizing standard office equipment in a professional setting. Full-time role with flexible hours including evening and weekend shifts; infrequent travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate understanding of troubleshooting methodology
- Basic understanding of desktop operating systems, various software applications, and PC/Server/Network hardware
- Basic understanding of principles and theories of network systems and management
- Basic understanding of Internet technologies and products
- Basic understanding of electrical safety procedures
- At least one year of technical work experience or equivalent education
- Must be able to talk
- Must be able to hear
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands to type, handle or feel
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to stoop

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's (or higher) degree in computer science-related field
- Two or more years of technical work experience
- One or more relevant technical certifications (e.g., A+, Network+ and Security+)
