Job Summary
As a student placement in Applications science, you will be immersed in the discovery, formulation and applications testing of Home Care products. You will contribute to the discovery, formulation, and application testing of new and existing products; support the development of formulations for laundry detergents, automatic dishwash, and hard surface cleaners; assist in laboratory-based formulation and performance testing activities; gain exposure to the full product development lifecycle from concept through to commercial application; collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative chemistry solutions; maintain accurate records and contribute to data analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a science-related degree programme with a focus in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Materials Science
- Completed at least two years of undergraduate study and working towards a 2:1 or above
- Demonstrated laboratory experience gained through academic or previous placements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and scientific integrity
- Eligibility to work in the UK for the full duration of the placement
