Job Summary
Applications Sales Engineer II to join our team as the face of our company in the Metals & Heat Treatment space. Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, developing innovative solutions, winning deals through technical excellence, targeting new customers and retaining existing ones, building lasting relationships through insightful sales strategies, partnering with sales, engineering, and operations to deliver value-added solutions, identifying industry trends, exploring new applications, and contributing to product development. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering, an MBA, at least 5 years of experience selling technical solutions in manufacturing, deep metals/heat treatment expertise, strong communication/presentation/relationship skills, and the ability to influence across organizational levels; travel regionally up to 55% is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience selling technical solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Willing to travel regionally up to 55% of the time.
- Have an MBA.
- Possess deep expertise in the Metals & Heat Treatment industries.
- Excel at communication, presentation, and relationship building.
- Can influence and engage across various levels within organizations.
- Problem-solver with a knack for innovation and critical thinking.
- Strong understanding of business and financial concepts.
