Job Summary
Applications Sales Engineer II responsible for understanding customer needs and developing technically differentiated solutions to win deals in the Metals & Heat Treatment sector. Drive growth by targeting new customers, retaining existing ones, and building lasting relationships through insightful sales strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, operations) to deliver value-added solutions, identify industry trends, explore new applications, and contribute to product development. Engage with stakeholders, partners, and influencers to stay ahead of the curve and translate technical capabilities into compelling business value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience selling technical solutions in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to travel regionally up to 55% of the time
- MBA
- Deep expertise in the Metals & Heat Treatment industries
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence and engage across various levels within organizations
- Strong problem-solving and innovative thinking
- Solid grasp of business and financial concepts
