Job Summary
The Applications Project Manager II at Solenis plays a pivotal role in supporting Tissue & Towel (T&T) product and market initiatives, providing technical support, training to the commercial sales team, and aiding in the progression of new business opportunities. Responsibilities include identifying technical solutions, developing new applications, overseeing new product development, conducting training sessions, and managing trial preparations. Candidates must have extensive experience in the industry, strong project management skills, and expertise in chemical applications, with a focus on the T&T market.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science and/or Engineering; or equivalent relevant industry experience
- 10+ years of industry experience
- Prior direct value sales experience
- Expertise in administration and management of chemical applications
- Project management experience
- Troubleshooting experience of complex situations
- Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking and problem solving
- Strong customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Technical leadership of product lines and markets
- Experience with T&T market and specialty chemical programs
