Job Summary
Develop and support interactive cognitive assessments and brain-training games using C# and Unity 3D at Northeastern, contributing to research-focused software from design through maintenance. Implement and test software for cognitive assessments, apply object-oriented programming, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, produce technical documentation, and support with planning, debugging, and software distribution. The role involves game-development tasks, integration with research activities, and contributing to software specifications and progress reporting in a research environment.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- one to three years of academic or professional experience
- Programming experience in C#, Unity C# and/or C++
- network programming experience
- experience with video game development
- Knowledge of game development, design, and software development practices
- familiarity with Unity3D
- ability to perform basic design, development, modification and debugging of software
- knowledge of source code control techniques and configuration management
