Job Summary
The Engineering Manager will lead the Support Engineers, overseeing sales support activities from inquiry to delivery including equipment selection, pricing, and technical knowledge. Responsibilities include training and developing the team, managing department operations, monitoring metrics for performance improvement, and collaborating with sales engineers on HVAC design and proposals. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in engineering, over 8 years of HVAC experience, and strong skills in communication and organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent training and experience
- 8+ years of HVAC support engineering experience
- 1+ year of experience coaching and mentoring engineers
- Deep technical knowledge of HVAC systems
- Mastery in the concepts of HVAC controls
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and apply HVAC concepts
- Experience in the construction and engineering industry
