Job Summary
Collaborate with sales teams to assess customer needs for RF and data communications, then design solutions, provide technical support, and deliver product demonstrations and proposals. Customize and configure products to meet specifications while conducting testing and validation to ensure performance. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, serving as a liaison between customers and internal teams to advocate for needs and provide feedback. Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance offerings, while assisting in developing technical documentation and training materials. This role requires 80% initial travel and up to 25 pounds of lifting, with a background in wire and cable or RF/Coax engineering preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience within the wire and cable industry
- RF/Coax experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
- Ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 80% initially and approximately 60% after the role normalizes
- Ability to lift and move objects and materials weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to collaborate with operations personnel in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE when onsite
- Ability to hear and participate in normal conversations and telephone communications
