Job Summary
Develop efficient, reliable Mastercam toolpaths for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis work, building and verifying post processors, simulations, and toolpath strategies for complex geometry. Prove out your own programs at the machine, then hand off clean programs and documentation to operators. Optimize cycle times, surface finish, and tool life through smart CAM strategy while partnering with engineering and quality to nail first-article and production parts. Push continuous improvement in programming and setup standards. This role rewards initiative: take the reins, spot a better way, and build it without waiting to be told. First shift, on-site at our precision manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Mastercam skills
- Multi-axis and post-processor work
- Deep CAM programming ability
- Hands-on, prove-it-yourself mentality
- Equally at home at a workstation and standing at the machine
- Self-starter who takes full ownership of a part from model to finished, validated program
- Strong grasp of GD&T
- Tooling knowledge
- Workholding knowledge
- Machining theory knowledge
- Comfortable reading complex 3D models and prints
- Ability to make the process faster, tighter, and more repeatable
