Job Summary
HVAC Applications Engineer focused on integrating renewable HVAC systems into customer environments; coordinates system applications involving pumps, valves, sensors, controls packages, flow requirements, and mechanical integration; collaborates with engineering, sales, operations, and R&D teams throughout project development and execution; develops technical documentation and supports field activities including startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization; translates technical engineering and R&D information into practical customer-facing materials and training resources; requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline and 3–10+ years of HVAC/renewable energy/applications engineering experience; proficient with AutoCAD or SolidWorks; strong communication skills and experience supporting customer proposals or technical sales support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 3–10+ years of experience in HVAC systems, mechanical systems engineering, renewable energy systems, applications engineering, controls integration, or related technical environments
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or related CAD platforms
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
