Job Summary
Applications Engineer to support a premier electromechanical testing systems product line through expert applications consulting, sales support, product marketing, and business development. Responsibilities include becoming proficient in our testing equipment and software, producing complex system proposals, resolving customer issues, building customer relationships, conducting product demonstrations and sales presentations, and training sales/service staff. Travel to customer sites, technical conferences, exhibitions, and seminars may represent up to 25% of work time. Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical or Materials Science) and strong interpersonal/organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science)
- Some relevant commercial work experience or interest in sales or marketing
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Travel to customer sites up to 25% of work time
