Applications Engineer III

Job Summary
The Applications Engineer III will provide pre- and post-sales support by conducting product demonstrations and offering technical consultation on ZEISS solutions. Responsibilities include creating technical reports, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and conducting training on ZEISS software use and metrology. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years of automotive or equivalent experience, and strong knowledge of CMM programming and metrology products. Proficiency in GD&T and experience with X-Ray/CT or Structured Light Scanning are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry or equivalent professional experience
- Strong knowledge of CMM programming and ZEISS CALYPSO and ZEISS INSPECT software
- Experience with X-Ray/CT or Structured Light Scanning (ATOS)
- Proficiency in GD&T and engineering drawings
- Experience in metrology or inspection within the manufacturing industry
