Job Summary
Applications Engineer I collaborates cross-functionally to translate product designs into scalable, cost-effective production solutions; designs electric motors (electrical and mechanical components), conducts testing and validation, and maintains production documentation (BOMs, technical drawings) to support product launches. The role involves developing technical proposals, providing on-site or remote technical support, supporting new product introductions, and engaging with customers and internal teams while contributing to cost reduction and product improvements. Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, plus the ability to manage multiple projects and travel quarterly, are required. Proficiency with lab work, reading electrical schematics, and using hand/tools in testing environments is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in engineering, preferably within the electric motor or manufacturing industry
