Job Summary
Applications Engineer I providing direct customer-facing support for system demonstrations, buyoffs, and initial system setup. Responsibilities include assisting with pre-sales support, configuring machines during demonstrations and buyoffs, delivering training courses for customers, performing process development under supervision, providing post-sales process and system support, contributing to system demonstrations and documentation, and collecting feedback for hardware/software improvements. Requires Associate's or Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical/Software Engineering, 1-3 years of process experience in microelectronics, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently within the US. Travel: Frequent within the US. Salary range: $67,000-$75,000 per year.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Software Engineering
- Minimum of 1-3 years of process experience in microelectronics; experience in semiconductor design/repair/maintenance preferred
- Root cause analysis experience preferred
- Field service experience is a plus
- Ability to travel frequently within the US
