Job Summary
Plan and document ultrasonic welding application development projects while providing technical expertise to customers. Execute factory and site acceptance testing, conduct customer personnel training, and deliver phone, email, and on-site support. Assume emergency and stand-by services, including shipping and delivery of spare parts. Assist with technical trainings and customer seminars. This role supports the PLASTICS division of Herrmann Ultrasonics, which develops machines joining plastics, packaging, nonwovens, and metals using ultrasonic vibrations for industries including medical, electronics, food, and automotive.
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundation in mechanical and structural engineering
- Strong mechanical aptitude skills
- Minimum one year of relevant engineering experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge of the manufacturing and automation machine industry
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred however Associates would be considered with the right experience
- 3d Cad experience preferred
- Creative problem solving mindset
