Job Summary
Overall, the role focuses on building end-to-end tools and applications to support various People strategies, partnering with product managers and cross-functional teams, and enabling HR-related applications with cloud-based microservices, frontend and backend technologies, testing, deployment, and user training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 4+ years of industry experience in software development, ideally in HR-related applications
- Knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript/Typescript (Node/Express), Python (FastAPI), HTML5, and CSS3, React
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, Cypress, or Playwright
- Experience with databases such as Postgres, MYSQL, Cassandra and scripting knowledge on SQL/PLSQL
- Strong foundation in computer science and engineering: algorithms, data structures, programming, databases, design patterns, virtualization, etc.
- Experience in building large-scale microservices and applications using cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to collaborate with remote team members across time zones
