Job Summary
Conduct technical sizing, selection, and configuration of control valves, actuators, positioners, and automation accessories for critical severe-service process applications. Evaluate customer inquiries and requests for quotes to generate complete technical and commercial proposals, while calculating pricing based on product cost structures and manufacturing requirements. Serve as a dedicated technical sales support resource for regional sales representatives and key account clients across the Gulf Coast region, handling order review, engineering verification, and complete order preparation for plant manufacturing. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 3+ years of hands-on experience with process flow control equipment, and proficiency with sizing software and ERP systems. Travel up to 25% for site visits and sales support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with control valves, automated valves, actuation systems, or process flow control equipment
- Prior experience as an Applications Engineer, Technical Inside Sales Representative, or Sales Support Engineer within industrial manufacturing or distribution
- Proficiency with sizing/selection software configurators, ERP systems, and technical specification reviews
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed for site visits and sales representative support
