Job Summary
The Applications Engineer will lead research on conformal coating application processes and formulate parameters suitable for various types. Responsibilities include collaborating with R&D chemists for application tests, leading root cause analysis for abnormal application issues, and conducting failure mode analysis for conformal coatings on PCBs. The engineer will also improve internal application guidance, provide training, and introduce new application technologies. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and one to two years of related experience are required for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- One to two years of related experience and/or training
- Proficient in reading and writing English with basic oral communication skills
- Experience in leading failure mode analysis on PCBs
- Ability to collaborate with R&D to execute application tests
- Experience in addressing customer application problems
