Job Summary
Participate in customer RFQ review meetings, prepare cell layout drawings, and liaise between mechanical, electrical, and assembly groups to develop concepts and estimate labor and material costs. Prepare equipment layouts, technical deliverables lists, and draft budget and quotation proposals for review with engineering leads and sales managers. Provide proactive customer design support for complex electro-mechanical assemblies, identify technical risks, and ensure project milestones are met within specific budgets and timelines. Attend escalation meetings, enforce Eclipse policies and ISO standards, and maintain ethical compliance while managing up to 30% travel.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree or College Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or equivalent experience
- Excellent experience with AutoCAD
- Expertise in MS Office
- Experience with hydraulics
- Experience with pneumatics
- Experience with electrical controls
- Experience with integration of equipment
- Experience and working knowledge of most CSA standards
- Experience and working knowledge of most ANSI standards
- Experience and working knowledge of most CE standards
- Professional written communication skills
