Job Summary
Solicit RFQs from customers, analyze technical specifications, and develop pricing worksheets to secure purchase orders for high-tech automation equipment. Lead project kick-off meetings, provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, and manage scope or delivery modifications. Evaluate industry trends, assist in creating promotional materials, and travel nationally or internationally to support new business opportunities and trade shows. Requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, CAD proficiency, and willingness to perform physical tasks around machinery.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills with extensive experience in supplier and customer interactions
- Proven time and resource management skills, including project and team leadership
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and discipline
- Results-oriented and committed to meeting schedules and budgets
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient in drafting, reading, and creating technical drawings and sketches
- Experience with CAD software including SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to the position, including climbing on and around machinery
