Job Summary
Partner with customers and internal teams to evaluate application requirements, design custom hydraulic integrated circuits, and develop system solutions that meet technical and commercial objectives. Create and interpret hydraulic schematics, conduct performance testing, and provide hands-on troubleshooting for technical issues while preparing engineering reports. Collaborate cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Product Management, and Sales to resolve challenges and support product validation and field evaluations. This role requires 50% domestic and international travel and a Bachelor's degree in engineering with three years of hydraulics experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in hydraulics, fluid power, mobile equipment, industrial equipment, or related technical applications
- Demonstrated experience supporting customers through technical troubleshooting, solution development, and product application
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, hydraulic symbols, and the ability to read, interpret, and develop hydraulic schematics
- Experience performing engineering analysis and documenting findings through technical reports and presentations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently while contributing in a collaborative team environment
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, as required
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience designing Hydraulic Integrated Circuits (HICs)
- Knowledge of mobile and/or industrial hydraulic systems
- Experience with data acquisition, testing, validation, and root-cause analysis methodologies
- Familiarity with PLCs, electronic controls, sensors, and electro-hydraulic systems
- Experience supporting OEM customers and field applications
