Job Summary
Design and refine remanufacturing processes for diesel injectors, providing application engineering support for Port Fuel Injection products and assigned programs. Investigate product performance issues, including test failures and field incidents, leading root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Author technical documentation such as incident reports and audit summaries while participating in recurring engineering meetings to communicate status to stakeholders. Support manufacturing, supply chain, and external suppliers with technical input to maintain shipment readiness and product quality. Occasional support outside standard hours during critical issues or product launches.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field
- 5 + years' Experience in application engineering, product support, or validation engineering
- Experience involving design, validation, and manufacturing process of DIESEL engine Common Rail diesel fuel injector
- automotive diesel fuel injection systems
- performance of root cause analyses of diesel fuel system failures
- design of diesel injector internal components with 3D SolidWorks
- generation of engineering drawings using GD&T
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to document technical issues clearly and professionally
- Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

- Automotive fuel systems or engine systems experience
- Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and audit response
- Familiarity with production launch and sustaining engineering support
- Experience collaborating with suppliers and manufacturing organizations
