Job Summary
Learn and perform control training on Okuma lathe & mill; interpret prints with GD&T; program and process parts; use CAD/CAM tools (Fusion, Gibbs, Esprit; AutoCAD); assist applications team; travel with senior engineers for customer visits; document demos and logs; maintain showroom and tooling; develop professional communication with customers and sales; support time studies and part processing to achieve high-quality, efficient results.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or minimum of a High School / Vocational Machining degree with 4 years machine operation / service-related experience
- Experience running manual Mill or Lathe
- Read and understand blueprints including GD&T tolerance
- Interpret G-Code programs
- Use and understand precision measurement instruments
- CAD / CAM Experience
- Ability to create a part drawing
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Passport. Must be able to travel out of state or out of country to support customer projects.
