Job Summary
Develop and maintain working knowledge of fluid handling equipment to generate accurate quotes for customers based on specific requirements. Communicate with clients to clarify details and address inquiries, while acting as a technical resource for end users, distributors, and the sales team. Assist users by troubleshooting issues and advising on best practices, ensuring compliance with all quality and safety regulations. This role supports the quoting and sizing process for centrifugal and positive displacement pumps used in food, dairy, desalination, and industrial applications.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational aptitude and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical co-workers and collaborate in a team environment consisting of cross functional disciplines
- Problem solving skills for determining solutions when problems arise
- Ability to effectively multi-task, while maintaining deadlines
- Comfortable communicating with customers over the phone and in-person on a regular basis
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 1-3 years related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with positive displacement pumps, centrifugal pumps
- Familiarity with the principles of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
- Experience quoting out of an ERP system (SAP, WorkWise)
