Applications Engineer - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Coordinate work orders with engineering and manufacturing for design, feature options, and change orders. Serve as the technical liaison between customers, dealers, sales managers, and internal teams to facilitate order processing and vehicle production. Create, review, and edit proposal, bid, and order drawings, including annual line drawings for new model years. Research previous vehicle purchases to guide dealers on options and layouts, and assist in quoting material and labor pricing. Participate in product line analysis meetings to support decisions on feature selections and market direction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CAD experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Minimum 5 years experience with Braun Ambulance production and/or design
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong technical aptitude
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance
- frequently required to use hand to finger dexterity in order to handle objects, tools, and/or controls
- occasionally required to stoop or crawl
- Successfully pass a post offer drug test, as well as random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug and alcohol test thereafter
- Maintain any required licensures and/or certifications
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience with Braun Ambulance production and/or design preferred
