Job Summary
Conduct development, configuration, and commissioning of test systems for battery, engine, and vehicle validation projects. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in real-world environments while partnering with project managers to maintain scope, timing, and budget. Deploy systems to customer sites, provide hands-on training, and support product demonstrations across North America. This role requires significant travel (60%) to customer facilities for installation, tuning, and ongoing support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or similar) or equivalent experience
- Understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Tools, and basic networking
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail are essential
- Significant travel to customer locations – 60% travel
Desired Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, or hands-on engineering project experience
- Participation in Formula SAE, Baja SAE, robotics competitions, capstone projects, or similar programs
- Experience with testing, controls, instrumentation, data acquisition, or automation systems
- Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, or software systems
- Interest in automotive, electrification, battery testing, or energy technologies
- Basic experience with networking or industrial communications
- Experience working directly with customers, teammates, or cross-functional groups
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
