Applications and Systems Engineer (Inside sales / Pre-sales)

Job Summary
Review customer quotations, analyze specifications, and propose suitable product designs and solutions. Build pricing by evaluating costing, managing RFQs to actuator manufacturers, and completing competitive assessments. Participate in pre-bid and post-order technical clarification meetings to ensure alignment with customer specifications and agreed conditions. Prepare technical bids with clarifications and deviations while liaising with internal functions. Translate customer requirements into product information, including commercial Bill of Materials and inspection test plans for manufacturing. Support the Procurement Department with cost estimations and assist the Internal Project Management team with change orders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 year of experience in Proposals/Bid Management/Pre sales of Industrial valves
- Bachelor's degree in technical area
- Fluent in English
- Able to read and understand technical specifications and literature
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical/Instrumentation
- Have knowledge about the valves, actuators and applicable standards like API 609, API Q1, API 598
- Preferred previous experience in the flow control industry with the ability to understand valve and actuation applications
- good understanding of fluid mechanics, electro-mechanical equipment and metal physical/chemical properties
- Knowledge of Pressure Equipment Directive (ASME, ANSI, API) standards
