Application Testing Analyst Lead

Job Summary
Lead application testing analysts across multiple projects to ensure high-quality application delivery for Old Dominion Freight Line's operations. Develop and execute manual and automated test cases, coordinate regression testing, and manage defects with developers, business analysts, and product owners. Define and implement quality assurance best practices, including test plans and scripts, while monitoring project progress, risks, and issues to meet deadlines. Collaborate with performance and automation teams to identify testing scenarios and facilitate remediation of production issues. Document QA deliverables and communicate application impacts on data, workflow, and functionality across teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3 years of experience leading or managing application testing analysts across multiple projects
- 7 years of total experience with hands-on participation in manual and automated testing of software applications
- Experience in application testing in both Agile and Waterfall Agile delivery environment
- Broad knowledge of software application testing practices around, unit, system, functional and automated regression
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, verbal, written and presentation skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language
- Naturally driven with a desire to contribute to the success of projects
- Takes ownership of responsibilities seriously
