Job Summary
Own end-to-end technical ownership of software and application solutions from design through production, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability. Design, develop, and execute business and technical solutions for new features or system upgrades using Java EE, Spring Framework, microservices, and cloud architectures. Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level resources through code reviews and quality assurance while resolving complex technical issues via advanced problem solving. Directly interface with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to validate requirements and monitor alignment with objectives. Contribute to defining technical standards, best practices, and design patterns while participating in hiring evaluations. Maintain current knowledge of emerging tools and AI/ML technologies to integrate them into enterprise applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree
- Advanced technical expertise on technologies: Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot), Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, cloud-based architectures, design patterns and SQL/NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, such as cloud AI services, LLM platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI), basic ML frameworks and integration of AI APIs into enterprise applications
- Advanced software development competencies: code quality, architecture design, understanding of DevOps practices and agile/waterfall methodologies
- Understanding of cloud-based applications architecture and deployment practices
- Ability to translate business needs into structured technical requirements, including those related to AI-driven features (classification, automation, RAG, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving, focus on results, decision-making abilities and teamwork orientation
- Location: Rome (RM) with smart working possibility
