Job Summary
The Application Support Engineer I acts as the primary technical liaison between customers and other departments to resolve application issues, executing application sanity tests to ensure application health. Responsibilities include providing 24/7 support, partnering with technical teams to execute application patches, and mentoring others in support procedures. The role requires extensive research and documentation of customer issues, along with collaboration with various teams to identify and resolve high-priority application concerns. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of technical implementations and deliver excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in CS or technical degrees; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years demonstrated experience supporting and troubleshooting mission-critical commercial software applications.
- Strong understanding of highly complex technical implementations which may include relational databases, networking, server set-up, single sign on and system administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
