Job Summary
Medior-to-senior Application Support Engineer/DevOps Engineer responsible for deploying in-house developed applications in acceptance and production environments (mostly Windows IIS & SQL-based), assisting on application server architecture, contributing to DRP/BCP documents and their execution, interfacing with IT clients, providing second/third-line troubleshooting, configuring F5 load balancing VIPs for web applications, supporting core technologies such as RabbitMQ, Redis Cache, and MongoDB, and applying DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires Linux RedHat and Windows Server expertise, PowerShell scripting, knowledge of security concepts (firewalls), and a willingness to learn new technologies; native French or Dutch language skills with English mandatory for documentation and meetings, plus a driver’s license and a mobile phone. 24/7 on-call duty (1 in 6 weeks) is part of the duties.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in supporting Applications on Linux RedHat
- Proven experience with Windows Server (2012-2022) (>10 years)
- Proven knowledge of IIS management and web site deployments
- Knowledge of PowerShell
- Knowledge of MS-SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis Cache (NEO4J or Redis Cache is a plus)
- Understanding of firewalls and network load balancing concepts
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Must be natively French or Dutch speaking, with English mandatory for documents and international meetings; German is a plus
- Driver’s license and a mobile phone
- Good level of Dutch and/or French and English required
